Earth, bearer of fertile lands, graceful skies, soothing waters and home to millions of species that can live together in harmony on the same planet. Under the jurisdiction of the Gods and Goddesses that command the six elements, Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Light, and Dark, the world's inhabitants lived peacefully; however this did not please everyone. Jealous of the unforeseen powers possessed by these deities, a powerful mage called Scelera created artificial copies of the mystical elements and combined them into one single entity.  Equipped with unlimited power Scelera sought to spread terror across the land, however this newly acquired strength proved to be unstable, and soon she was overwhelmed by its force and threatened to destroy the world.

     Unable to directly interfere with the mortal world the Gods and Goddesses sent down gems containing portions of their power to six humans, in order for them to uphold justice and protect the Earth from imminent destruction. The humans defeated Scelera, but not without a price. The wielder of Light was defeated and his gem lost, along with the source of Scelera's power, now known as the corrupt element, Energy. With the loss of the gem of Light the balance of power has shifted, and the world is again in danger. The five remaining gem wielders now have to recover the sixth gem and destroy the artificial element, before it falls into the wrong hands. Their journey would later be dubbed, the Elemental Crusade.
